Article 2. Livestock
Livestock shall include but is not limited to any cattle, bison, swine, sheep, goats, horses, mules, domesticated deer, camelids, domestic poultry, domestic waterfowl. “Livestock” shall also include all creatures of the ratite family that are not indigenous to this state, including, but not limited to, ostriches, emus and rheas, and any other animal as deemed fit by the Quinter City Council.
District shall include all properties within the City limits South of the railroad tracks.

It shall be unlawful for the owner, lessee, occupant or person in charge of any premises in the district to possess and maintain any Livestock within the district or permit to be maintained thereon any stable, shed, pen or other place where Livestock is kept.

Any person or persons violating this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined ten dollars ($10) for each offense. Each day that any provision of this article is violated shall constitute a separate offense.
